Experience
First intro class free. FRENCH I am an American native French speaker, as I was lucky enough to grow up in France. There, I was enrolled in the French public schooling system through the end of high school. When I teach, I strive to incorporate elements of French culture, such as film, literature, current events, and slang, depending on your goals and preferences. I started tutoring French at an early age in high school (French grammar is so tricky that it was a mandatory subject until the 9th grade!). While attending the University of Virginia, I tutored student athletes in beginner and intermediate French. They all passed with flying colors. I am a versatile tutor, ready to adapt to your learning style and your goals, i.e., writing a paper for class, prepping for a trip, and studying for the SAT French test. Though I am now an attorney, I truly enjoy teaching and would love an opportunity to help you fall in love with the French language and reach your goals in this subject matter. PERSUASIVE/LEGAL WRITING As an attorney, most of my responsibilities involves writing and arguing. I have learned how to write persuasively and effectively through my law school and legal career. I am happy to help you with your writing needs, including personal statements for college and law school admissions.
