I am a native Chinese speaker, and currently teaching Mandarin Chinese at a high school in CT, USA. I also teach a Chinese class at a Community College in CT. I believe that my teaching experience at the high school and college level with various ages has made me a better teacher. In addition, I teach private lessons to students outside the classroom for students who want to learn simplified characters as well as those preferring traditional characters. I have incorporated the use of educational technology with PowerPoint presentations into my teaching practice on a daily basis. It is a very effective teaching practice that makes learning more interactive and fun.
